Recoil pad for Rem 700

I have a remington 700 adl with a laminated stock, and I would like to know what the best way to adjust the lop would be. Is there a recoil pad that would adjust to longer or shorter? Any input would be appreciated.

Pretty hard to get a shorter LOP without shortening the stock. Most recoil pads are either 1" thick, or 1/2" thick. If you have a 1" version, the best you can gain is 1/2" inch reduction, with a pretty significant increase in thump to the shoulder. Best to take it to a pro for this.
