Best deal for 1X brass?

Hi. I was wondering where you guys buy your used brass from . I know some of you are lucky enough to get it for free, but for the rest of you, where have you found to be the cheapest source? Thank you!

What calibers ?

How much brass are you interested in ?

Prices are higher for less (of course) but most commonly sold calibers are about the same price at most places.

There are a couple of places that sell range pickups, as is, for cheaper but it's a crap shoot on quality. For processed brass, the best source I have found is Brass Hole in New Mexico. A little higher than some on price, but the brass is outstanding. Good people to deal with too, pretty dry sense of humor, if they like you, they will work you a great deal if you are a repeat customer. If they don't, they won't sell to you.

Otherwise, scharch, brassman, hqbrass, millseat, powder valley, and starline are great. Again, it depends on what you're after.

I haven't tried the Midway, Grade 3 brass, but have heard it isn't a bad deal for the price.

HTH

I don't really have any contact information to give other than a PO Box.

They don't have a website, and they don't list a phone number as Brass Hole. I think the guy running it is a one man operation or has a couple of family members helping out. At times, they have no brass at all, other times they have lots. He usually works the gunshows in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. I ran into them at the Tulsa show a few months ago.

Here's what I have :

Brass Hole
PO Box 44821
Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87174

I usually order Brass Hole brass thru

Accu-Zone Bullets
5840 49th Street
Lubbock, Texas 79424
(806)796-2858

That's pretty much all I have...

I got my brass from http://www.hqbrass.com

The site is run by a 1911 forum member (he is probably a member here as well). Good brass, good service, good price, can't ask for more then that.
