Installing Muzzle brake on AR15
I just bought a WOA SPR barrel. I am going to put a JP Enterprise Bennie Cooley muzzle brake on it. How hard is it to get the brake to line up right? Do I need to order special washers or anything? Also what is the best way to secure the barrel without scratching it up?

If you are extremely lucky the brake will align without a washer. A friend with a lathe could take a little off the rear of the brake or barrel shoulder to get it to align. Otherwise, use a crush washer or peel washer.

Whatever you prefer is fine by me,I have found the noise level from similar brakes to be a problem.
Any of the flash suppressors are easier to live with, but have fun your own way. |
