Imperial sizing wax

So not only is this stuff great for resizing cases, but I thought I'd let you all know it works great in a pinch as shoe polish! Does anyone else have any odd uses for this stuff?

Lanolin. It's good for your hands too.

It is a lot cheaper to use Kiwi Mink Oil on your cases than to use Imperial on your boots.

+1 bought a tin of the Kiwi a few months back and works as good as the imperial. Besides waterproofing and softening leather goods you can saturate a cloth patch with the Kiwi and it makes a great fire starter.

After I polish my boots with Imperial, how long should I tumble them?

Shining isn't the problem, it's getting all the damn steel pins out before the insides dry.

I have the imperial and it works great. I tend to use my obenauf's lp boot preservative on my cases and it works just as good...but cheaper!!

I'm still on my first can of Imperial Sizing Wax, however when I run out I will switch to petroleum jelly, the Vaseline brand can be had for about $3 at Walmart the generic version for half of that. I've tested and it feels and works just like Imperial Sizing Wax for 1/10th the price.

Yes, you can use it to also condition leather shoes and jackets.
