Do you mean the little stud on the very, very left of my picture? My gun is a Uberti/Euroarms 1873 and I have serious doubts that this piece, if fitted properly, could be told from the real McCoy!

Try Numrich Arms (Gun Parts Corp.). They carry parts for lots of guns. Here is a link to the 1873 page

Here's some places to try, but be aware, the original Winchester parts have pretty well dried up, and what's available are Italian replica parts.
Even if you buy a Winchester part, it may well actually be Italian. The only way you might tell is if the bluing is TOO good. Here's some possible sources, but you better be 100% CLEAR about what you want, and even then be prepared to get Italian. In all cases, you need to either actually call or email, they may not have something listed online. http://www.jackfirstgun.com/ (You have to call, but he's good). http://www.gun-parts.com/index.html/ http://www.chasjonesgunparts.com/page/page/541489.htm |

thank you Dfariswheel...i will call.
and thank you for the help and information. i am aware that original parts are hard to find if at all but something is better than nothing and i can always re-do the part to simulate the patina of the rifle if need be. once again thank you Kevin.

If you're willing to use an Italian part, that's no problem.
A good source is Brownell's. Parts Number 33, 34, and 35: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=3...l/1873_Carbine |
