Tried out a couple of new ones.

Well I haven't had much of a chance to get out and try out a couple of new bullets. So during a break in the action around here, I snuck down the hill and let a few fly.

I really don't like the sights on this particular GP-100. They are OK for hunting, but a bit much for drawing a fine bead with. Anyway I managed to keep everything on the target at 25yds. These were all poured from a 10#coww + 2# of a mess I made out of a 65# batch of range lead I added a pound of 95/5 solder to. The we missed works great like this and pours beautiful bullets that from what I saw today can be run with a healthy dose of AA-9 and not only not lead up the barrel but also expand nicely. I do have to say though, they do mess up my lids.

The light ones run about 160grs and the heavier 170'fish. They are both SWC's. I can't give the molds right now since I am not at home. The light ones made it to around 8-9 1/2". The heavier to around 14". Those should work well for hunting.

Just passing some time.

No pitchers of the GP?

Nice shootin' though. That definitely looks like minute of hog.

i put your mold to work again and put a few on paper as well, shot nice today, was pretty windy, but not nearly as bad as last time

did a true 50 yard test

as always, the rossi gets a pretty good group off-hand standing

163gr, 3,2gr hp38, ran a similar weight bullet with same powder through chrony recently, hitting a little over 800 w 20inch barrel, shoots nice
