I'd like to replace the all black Novaks on my SA 1911-A1 9mm with night sights. Novak obviously makes a set and Wilson also makes a set which will retro into existing Novak cuts. My question is I doubt either of these sets is available for 9mm. That is, they will be preadjusted for a .45s POA/POI. Will the 9mm print that much differently or am I just creating worry were there is none?

Best thing I can think of is to talk to the folks at
Novak and see what they say. I know that they make
different height front sights to change the POA to match
the POI.

Andabeer, as long as the front sight is the correct height for the rear you'll be fine. They aren't set up for different calibers. They are designed to be parallel with the slide. If you get a set the front will be matched to the rear. George
