Pain or Fun When Do You Draw The Line.
Browning Hi Powers .... "Hey, wait a minute! I still have magazines! How can I be out of bullets?!?!?"

Browning Hi Power, they are really a sweet gun, can you believe how old they are.Mine is a 9mm and lays by my head at night. It is really a pleasure to own and shoot; I don't understand the boomer shooters that bruise their arm all the way to their elbow, just to make a loud bang.

In a handgun the power of 45 and 9mm is enough I don't see why you would bother with the others and I have yet to realize why someone wants to hunt in North America with more than a 30-06 or 303.

One round out of my T/C Contender in .45-70 is enough. A tapered barrel with that much hole weighs nothing. Of course it's OK with 405 gr rounds, but what are they-800 fps? A 300 gr Rem or Win is punishing to say the least. I haven't fired it in many years. I've found life's too short to dance with nasty guns.
Actually it's practically been that long for my Redhawk as well. 10mm seems my nastiest these years.

Unpleasant guns
The only gun/cartridge combo that I have found unpleasant enough to avoid is the 500 S&W shooting 600 -700 grain bullets from my T/C Encore pistol.
I assembled that combo in order to test handloads. Shooting it hurt from shot one. I have heavy rifles - a .416 Rigby, a .375 H&H, a Handi-Rifle for hot .45-70s. A box or so of cartridges from each is normal.....but not that 500 Encore pistol. Pete
