1858 Remington Navy
How can I tell what year my Uberti Remington 1858 Navy was made? Also is the forged frame Remington any different than the cast frame, other than the type of steel?
Thanks

Look on the side of the frame. There should be a box with two letters in it. Those are the proof date codes. Post those and we can tell you when it was made.

I posted the decoder ring under the thread you started on The High Road. CD means 2009.
