Problem with Beretta sling swivel stud
I just purchased a new end cap for my Xtrema 2 with a sling swivel stud on it. The problem is, the hole in the stud is too small for the post on a swivel to fit. Could it have been drilled wrong or are there different sizes of posts on sling swivels? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This shows a sling swivel, but then goes on to say it is discontinued:

I ordered the aftermarket cap from Beretta that has the swivel stud on it. The problem is, the hole in the stud is too small and the swivel won't fit in it.

Rare, but it happens.
I've had studs whose hole were a tad undersized and both were from the same manufacture. I'm just talking about a slight undersize and did not take much to open up the clearance. Now, if your is grossly undersized, then I'd send it back or get an explaination on what swivel to use. I know how you hate to cut into that blueing. ...

Problem solved. Went back to Bass Pro this evening and tried an Uncle Mike's swivel and it just fits. The threaded post on the swivels I was trying to use was just slightly too big. Looks like it's gonna work great. Thanks for the suggestions.
