I did too. That was the problem. Loading 10 tiny .22s into 10 tiny chambers with my big fingers got really old, really fast. I know they make speed loaders for the 617, but then I'm just loading 10 tiny rounds into the speed loader.
Mine got replaced with a Ruger 22/45 Lite and a McFadden clip loader. Loads a magazine in about two seconds; I don't reload .22 so I don't care if the cases go everywhere. In some weird way, I almost think I'd prefer a 6 shot .22 revolver to the 10. |
