Using ss tumbling media for trigger job

I use ss media for tumbling brass and they come out really smooth and shiny. Has anyone ever tried smoothing out the mating surfaces on a sear and other trigger parts to get a smooth surface? Thanks.

Sears should have high polished sharp planes. Tumbling will not give that result ever. Stone and Block polishing is best way to achieve the desired sear surface. Tumbling rounds edges, scratches, and gouges to achieve its shine.
