6.8 SPC and a Dillon 550B

I have been using the #1 insert on my Lee hand primer for priming my 6.8 SPC brass. The #1 is also the one used for .38/.357. Do any of you know if the Dillon shell plate for .357 brass works for the 6.8? I don't shoot enough of either caliber to make the $40+ purchase worthwhile (yes, I'm cheap) but between them it would make sense. Thanks.

You could try it, but you may end up with more problems than the $40 bucks. You need the shell plate for 6.8 or 30 Rem Or 32 Rem. IIRC it uses No 2 buttons.
