.357 Keith HP and MP 360640 molds

I am proud to add this NOE to my little collection. I can see me being good friends with this one. And it came with 4 blank (unturned) pins too. I think I'm going to turn two of them down to shallow cup points for better weight retention, and turn the other two to needle points for a semi-high velocity HP.
This is my first aluminum mold, so a little learning curve is expected.

(for those unfamiliar with NOE, this is the Night Owl Enterprises 358429 RG2 mold)

I am SOOOO jealous !!! Looking at the pins shown there is hardly any metplat
left on the bullets making them more of a devastator type HP . These should open at medium velocities quite easily even with alloys in the 12 BHN range . I would love to try those in my K14 at around 800 fps . Should be an awesome Bunny Thumper .

I think it's gonna be a nice one. I'll share a few with ya 10 Spot-T when I get some cast up. I may even call this one the "Bunny Thumper."
I'm up outta the wheelchair now and as soon as I can ditch this cane and it quits raining in AL... I hope to get in some time spent beside a nice warm pot of lead.

And here's a pic of the 360640 (MP mold). 'Just got it today. It throws a 140 grainer in HP configuration.

Thanks! I know the brass ones like it hot. I'll have to learn about this one. My other NOE is a great mold, but it definitely has a favorite "sweet spot" in the heat zone. This is my 2nd NOE and my 3rd MP ... thank goodness I only cast for one caliber!!!

Nothing like Mould pictures. Very nice! There goes my stars! Really not a very naughty word when combined with the word mould. Bet it was the same four letters GP100man used.

I have the 358-360 with the double crimp grooves. Your going to like that one a LOT.

I gave it some Iso core alloy blended to about 1.75/1.75/96.5, so that I could get the tin and antimony up to around even. Loaded over a good dose of Blue Dot they shot great and expanded wonderfully.
