9mm 147 gr FMJ and Lee dies...
I'm looking at a Lee Load Master press for my first unit and have done my research on it. Question I have is that I was given 200 9mm 147gr FMJ bullets. I've read the reload stats that say to use between 3.2 and 3.5 gr powder. My question is that I also read where the Lee crimping die will not hold up to 147 gr. Fact or fiction please? Like I said I'm a reloading newbie, so bear with me please.
Thanks! |

I don't know about the Lee crimping die thing. I have a 9mm Lee Factory Crimp Die and I never read anything like that about it (A "crimp die" and a "Factory Crimp Die" are two different things).
But I'm curious: Between 3.2g and 3.5g of WHAT powder? There are many different types.
