Trying to choose a CZ
I have been wanting to get a 9mm CZ for awhile now I have the money and have found a few for sale, I want the decoker version so please help me decide between the CZ 75BD vs. CZ 75BD POLICE, both are at the same price... Im not exactly sure what the differences are between the two models, I believe the POLICE model has the loaded chamber indicator, not sure what other differences there are if any...does anyone have experience with these models? is there a difference in accuracy? Thanks

The 75BD is just the decocker version of the standard full size 75B. I've never heard of a police version before, could you be referring to the PCR?
If so, the PCR is an alloy framed compact model with a decocker and loaded chamber indicator. It holds 14+1 rounds. |

I did not hear about the police model either until about a week ago it does not seem to be much different from the standard 75BD except it does have "POLICE" imprinted on the slide. hope someone out there owns one and can provide additional info...I tried to attach photo

Here's a thread that seems to answer your questions from a few months back.

Yes either one should make you a happy camper. Another model to look at is the Phantom. It is also a decocker version but has a polymer frame and 18rd mag.

I had a 75bd for ten years. Great gun, put thousands downrange with it.
That being said, have a look at the P01. Updated controls and generally more modern in design. Also more 'carryable'. |

Figure on this being your first CZ. It's very rare to stop at one...

I just recently bought a CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical. Very nice gun. Soft shooter. Great grip. Not crazy about the trigger, but I guess it just needs breaking in.
