Best place to get Ivory (polymer) grips

I'd like to get a one piece polymer ivory grip for my Pietta 51 Navy. Can any of you advise some places to look where you've gotten good service?

Tombstone Grips, they also have several shades of ivory depending on how old you want them to look.

I just ordered a set from Buffalo Brothers.

They have a service where you can send them your pistol and they will fit the grips for you.

I just sent my Pietta 1851 in to them so I haven't got it back. But the pictures they have on their website look really good.

I ordered a set of ivory scrimshaw grips for a 1911 commander 3 weeks ago from Bone Trading they say they won't ship for another 10 days. So I'm guessing they don't want my repeat business.
I want a set of custom grips for my sons Astra A100 but everyone wants the frame for an extended length of time. I'm not going to ship a gun to a company I haven't done business with before not knowing how committed to customer service they are.

Are there any reputable grip makers out there someone has done business with before?

Ordered a set from NC Ordnance for my 51 Navy. Look good and relatively inexpensive.

I'll go to one of the others for a one piece grip when I get the Richards Mason 51 Conversion I have on order.

I bought a can of spray on appliance epoxy(@ $6). sprayed my grips white. when in smooth, and looks like ivory(sorta kinda)

I am thinking of a second caliber (Right now I only reload .45 Long colt.)

If I go to .38 I can load .38 and .357.

BUT

Does the .38-40 use the same case and same dies as the .38/.357?

What is the difference?

Doc Hoy: The .38-40 is totally different from any .38 caliber. It is actually .40 cal. and the case is longer and of bottleneck shape. Nothing about it interchanges with anything except that the case is the same as a .44-40 necked down to .40 cal. L. O. G.
