Reinstalling Mauser HSC trigger bar?

I feel like an idiot messing with this thing.

For the first time I took the trigger bar out to clean it and the gun parts under it, had to leave for an appointment, and now I can't get the damn thing back in the gun properly. It came out without a problem, but now no matter how I position the trigger (with the ring of the trigger bar mounted on it), I can't find the natural place for the rear of the trigger bar in relation to the sear.

Does anyone have any pointers?

Do you have any pictures or an explanation on how you got it back in position, I'm not sure how it should look but my trigger bar is floating freely
