Historic Colt navy
Well, kind of historic. I found this fully assembled, in the white and very well fitted and finished. Whoever did it even did good metal work on the insides- unlike most. It has three digit serial numbes or matching assembly numbers and no proof marks and all markings are out of sight. I was told by somebody who knows that these were built by one of the italina firms for Colt in 1978 when they were starting Colt black powder. A friend of his bought them up after Colt rejected them for one reason or another. they came with a 1978 dated colt black powder manual.
