Lyman Cast Data .357 Magnum

Is anyone else using the new 4th edition of Lyman's Cast Bullet Handbook?

The 158grn .357 magnum data for HS6 says it's most accurate with a max dose of 10.2 grn.

All my other sources don't come close to 10 grains of HS6.

Does anyone have experiance with this load?

The bullet I'm using is a Lee mold but looks exactly like the Lyman.

Which Bullet:

All bullets are different, some have more surface area therefore more drag on the barrel..

That would make a difference.

Also each gun is an individual, Reloading Guides are just that, Guides. One needs to tailer his rounds to his individual gun.

ALWAYS work up your loads. Start at the min charge and work up from there looking for sign of brass failure, seperation, flat primers or splits.
There is no load data that is magic and produce the sub moa group in your gun. It takes time and trial and error to find the magical load for each gun you have in the same caliber. What works in a 9mm glock may not shoot well in a HP or a sig.

Good luck, double check data.
