Historians,

Is Charles Allen of Hopkins and Allen related to Ethan Allen, father in law of Messrs. Forehand and Wadsworth?

There seems to be a discrepancy as to Charles' middle initial. I found one reference that says it's a W and one that lists it as a H. Without knowing for sure, makes it very difficult.

Here's a biography with Charles W and Ethan connected around the correct time period.
