Pachmayr Grips On A Remmy??
Yes, I know they are ugly, but you sure can hang onto them. These are what
I use in revolver competition on my 44 Remmy that was converted to 36. And if you don't like them, you will love these. Last edited by kwhi43; August 10, 2011 at 07:07 PM. |

I can't argue, they're most definitely ugly as sin! But if you're hitting the X, then who am I to complain?

I like the palmshelf!
Bet the wooden palmshelf fits like a glove! I have an airpistol with that style and it sure is easy to hit with!
The Pachmeyers? Well... I never found the recoil caused a need for em. Sure is a different idea tho. ZVP |

One thing is for sure . . . you'll never pass muster at a Civil War reenactment with those!
I think that they are so ugly that they're kind of cute myself. For shooting, I'll bet that they really work well . . . . the heck with what any of us think about 'em . . . actually, I'm impressed and I'm glad you showed them to us! It kind of remindes me of my Ruger New Vaquero . . . for me, I absolutely hate the grips that came on it. I'm going to make a new set out of Mesquite for it this winter that are more "formed to my hand". I wanted to stay authentic looking with it but after shooting it quite a bit, it is becoming more evident that if my target shooting is going to get any betteer, I have to do something with the grips . . . and, as Louis Sullivan said . . "form follows function". What Pachmeyers did you use for the Remmie? I've never really looked at their grips that much . . . I'm assuming that from the looks of yours, you had to alter them to fit or are these a "stock" set? Thanks again for sharing . . I enjoyed the photos . . . great looking pistols!

I really don't use the wood ones. I'll sell them for say 35.00. Anyone?
