Identifying my new SA-XD

This may sound silly, but I am having trouble identifying my new XD as to which exact model it is.

I traded the Sub 2000 for it, I am pretty sure I got the great deal, it is brand new / once fired and came with the two 16 round mags.

I would like to know *exactly which* and have an exact model for my reference / determine age, and to download some documentation.

Specifically, XD9301HCSP06 9mm; the two tone one.

I'm no expert but as far as I know there is only one generation of XD pistols on the market.

Thanks, that does look to be it, I looked through some pics on their site, and I could find ones that looked like it, and others that seemed to look just like it in different colors, so I was not sure f I had X or Y in a different color.

I find it retailed around $500-$550 so well worth the trade I assume, any way to determine exact age?

To me new is new regardless of when it was made, but would be nice to know, something SA might be able to tell me off serial?

Call SAI with the serial number, they could tell ya I bet. I shoot M1A rifles a lot, the number is even saved in my phone, and Springfield has had great customer service.

Call Springfield, or check the date stamped on the envelope with the fired case, that should be in your package.

A lot of people really lust after the Sub2K. Between it and a handgun, I think I'd rather have the handgun.

I would think you got the better end of the deal. While Kel-Tec is very innovative I'm not sure I'm sold on their quality. The SA XD (while not really made by SA) is of much higher quality I feel.

I have a 4" XD9 that I've had for like 8 years and I love it.

That was just it, I wanted the Sub bad when I got it, looked for it for a solid month, and got a good deal on it, had fun with it, in the end it was great fun, but felt like a toy sort of (Despite the fact it was dead accurate, reliable, and had plenty of power)

I replaced all the Philips head screws with hex buttons, and I replaced the stock front sight, it did look a lot better afterward (Or less like a water gun), but still, this XD9 looks and feels much more solid and real.

Lee, it was new, but not in the case, I pulled the slide off when we traded out, no wear and squeaky clean.

Will call SA in the morning, I cannot wait to go shoot this thing.

I have a nice small green laser coming in the mail should be here in a couple of days. Unfortunately LaserMax did not make a pin laser for it

but this thing tucks away neatly under the rail from the pics, so it should still be good.
