I don't use that bullet. But with my 115's, I use 6.3g Power Pistol and get 1234 fps from a 3.7" barrel (Kahr CW9). It's a great bullet weight/powder combo.
(The above load recipe is in compliance with Speer #14.)

Xtreme says not to exceed 1500 fps. So I will look at my Speer and Hornady 115 grain FMJ and stay under 1500 FPS. Geary

Yep. That's what I would do. As far as OAL, the best thing to do is plunk test them for the gun you're going to shoot them through. I always self-determine the OAL (as opposed to taking someone else's data).
My 6.3g recipe btw, probably has some "head room" in it. I'm not in any hurry because I'm actually happy with the velocity; but at some point, I may try another 1/10th or two more powder. Hornady #9 and Speer #14 both top out at 6.7.

I use these exact bullets and powder.
I load on the light side...5.3gr of PP and OAL of 1.14" My Glocks cycle them just fine. Caution: quite a fireball if you shoot in low light conditions. |

I've always loaded 9mm Xtreme round noses, 115gr and 124gr, to 1.135". I arrived at this length by seating a dummy round in increments until the bullet diameter at the case mouth went from .355" to .354". That way the entire shank of the bullet is seated within the case and only the ogive is above the case mouth. It is also in line with OALs of other FMJ bullet data. Loaded to this length it will pass the plunk test in any 9mm pistol. I use Speer's jacketed data with Xtremes because that is what they suggested I use. I haven't found Power Pistol to be flashy. Of course, I cut my teeth handloading 357 Magnum. Speer's data for 115gr FMJs with Power Pistol starts at 6.2gr and maxes at 6.7gr. Hornady is quite fond of Power Pistol in 9mm and their data for 115gr FMJs also maxes at 6.7gr but starts at 4.8gr. Sierra is a bit more conservative with a max of 6.0gr and a start of 5.1gr. I am currently using Power Pistol with Xtreme's 124gr round noses and keep my loads a few tenths of a grain below max, Power Pistol gets pretty snappy toward the upper end. Accuracy is excellent and me and my guns don't need any more workout.

make ten test ten, THEN make more
Start with Power Pistol and 115g = 6.2g.
