9mm load data disappointing
Being new to reloading I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I just received my Lyman 49th, and was disappointed in the load data for 9mm or lack there of. There is no loading for 124gr fmj's.
I am looking to reload for IDPA and USPSA minor. I would like to shoot 124gr fmj's at about 1050fps (give or take 50fps). I was thinking about going with titegroup or wsf. I understand these are pretty different powders. I would also like to duplicate nato ballistics as well just for plinking as my favorite factory load is GECO Nato, which is very hard to come by any more. If someone could point me to a manual with more 9mm data than the lyman, I would much appreciate it.

I would just go to the manufactures website and look for information there. That is either the bullet or the powder you plan to use. Such as:

Lyman is much better for lead load data.
http://www.reloadammo.com/9mloads.htm had load data for 125 fmj using WSF.

Thanks for the resources, gentlemen. Very helpful. I also found the US Armies load data for NATO M882. Uses a 112gr. projectile. Loaded with 6 grains of HPC 26 COL 1.165". Apparently, NATO has a standard range of bullet weight from 108gr to 128gr for the 9mm. I thought 124gr was the standard.

NATO ammo is loaded to pressure well above SAAMI. You will not see loads at these pressures in any American loading manual.

Just for the record, I don't plan on starting out loading NATO spec ammo. I do like the commercially available NATO loadings. I will be sticking to the books for the foreseeable future. I think I will start with Montana Gold 124 fmj's on 4.8-5.0gr. of WSF maybe play with the OAL from 1.12"-1.15"
