6.5x55 Swede 100gr load for all you Swede Lovers
My Tikka T3 Hunter (6.5x55 obviously) and some cheap 100gr Sierra HP bullets inspired me to make a varmint load.........seems that 42gr of Varget, COL of 2.88 (a bit longer than the Sierra load book's 2.85 COL) shoots .15-.3 inch groups....I was impressed....it throws the third one if you don't allow for a bit extra cooling time than the first two (obviously I guess).
as always follow the acceptable reloading methods indicated in the sierra manual (For sierra bullets etc.) and work up the load! Hope this helps someone! Pat |

Wild...the 100 gr Sierra HPs are prettyyyyyyy vicious.... and you can find them on saleeeeee I've never gotten to work with the scenars I would assume a slightly modified charge would work well with them as well?
