I took the class here:
http://www.txconcealedhandgunclass.com/ Michael Cargill is the instructor and I found his class to be very enjoyable for an 8 hour required class. Very relaxed and informative atmosphere. I believe they have the cheapest rates too at $95. It's not required, but I recommend you do your fingerprints and submit the CHL application at DPS before taking the class so he can submit all of the paper work for you after you finish the class. I highly recommend him! |

I have been using a guy named Ross Bransford, he works out of
the Lone Star Gun Range, just north of Lockhart. He is very good and he doe's the fingerprinting and pictures right there. I dont have his e-mail, but the phone number for the range is 512-801-2624. This guy teaches a real good class, you wont be disappointed. |
