I believe the title is either "Worlds fighting shotguns" or "Worlds combat shotguns" by Thomas Swerergen (sp?)

This is an excellent book, written I believe in the early 80s. It has tons of good info about the evolution of the fighting shotgun. I got a copy from the local library and read most of the print off the pages. The chapter on specialty ammo is incredible. And some of the experimental guns that turned into evolutionary dead ends are very interesting.

If I remember right however, this book does tend to be more technical, but it has lots of good info about the guns usage in combat.
