80% AR Lower

I just bought my first 80% AR Lower and jig from http://www.80percentar.com/ for $125 a pop. This will be my first attempt at finishing an 80% lower. Any general tips for this?

Thanks,
Mill

Maybe this will help...

http://www.cncguns.com/projects/ar15...utorial-1.html

Given that finished lowers are now available for only a few bucks more again, seems like a lot of work for the $$ saved.

But then again, it's a "homemade" firearm- so that's got a cool factor

Finally started to see AR lowers drop back into the 120-150$ range, about damn time. Definitely cool to make something custom from an 80% - even buying a stripped lower and building it up from there gave me a lot of satisfaction after seeing the finished product a month or so later. Be sure to post pics of your progress. Are you going to have it coated in a specific color or pattern or go with black? A buddy of mine got a dip kit for around 100$ and dipped a shotgun of his in a camo pattern, turned out really cool.
