Some range results

Fine Sunday in Western Oregon. 42 degrees, overcast and misty at 9AM. At the range before 10.

Working up some loads for my '92 Rossi Puma 45lc. Have some Beartooth Bullets in 340 and 300 gr. Also some cast bullets from a local guy in 250 gr. Loaded up some various H4227 loads, running 17.5 to 21.5. Not for most pistols. Installed a new Marbles front sight with gold bead to go with the new tang peep. The folding rear is on back order.

340 gr. bullet with 21.5 gr. H4227 averaged 1280 with a spread of 30.

340 gr. bullet with 19.5 gr. H4227 averaged 1014 with a spread of 15.

340 gr. bullet with 17.5 gr. H4227 averaged 980 with a spread of 40.

300 gr. bullet with 21.5 gr. H4227 averaged 1112 with a spread of 30

300 gr. bullet with 19.5 gr. H4227 averaged 1080 with a spread of 30

Also shot some 300WSM, 150 gr. Hornady GMX, 52 gr. H4895 running right at 2700

300WSM 110 gr. Speer Hot Cor, 60.5 gr. running right at 3235

243 Win 100 gr. Remington Core Lokt, 31 gr. H4895 average 2415

Shot the new Ruger Blackhawk 4 5/8" as well. Red Dot under 250 gr. LRNFP
