FN 1910

anyone know where i could find the date it was made?.... serial # 154xxx...

I've read that most of FN's record were lost during the WWI and WWII. Finding the exact date might be a tough chore.

Actually, it is rumored that FN's records were NOT lost in WWII, much like Beretta's. They are just ashamed of their collaboration with the Germans.

At any rate, my guess would be in the early to mid 1920's.

Perhaps someone can come up with a better answer but I can tell you that (per Vanderlinden, The Belgian Browning Pistols, # 144152 was shipped in September, 1922. 154xxx would probably have been made in late 1922.
