A bit of a rant: Laserlyte........shipping charges

I went to Laserlyte's website the other day looking for a shotgun adapter for my boresighter. I found a nice kit for 30 bucks that had the shotgun bore adapter and some other neat goodies and went to their online store to order. While there I put a tri-rail adapter for my Mossberg 500 in the cart too. Been meaning to pick one of those up for awhile. When I went to process the cart the shipping options were all UPS and the cheapest (standard UPS Ground) was $33.80!

I couldn't believe it! They were about to charge me $33.80 for shipping on a $55.00 order that couldn't have weighed more than a couple of pounds. There was no option for USPS. NO explanation as to why their UPS rates were roughly 3 times the norm (You don't even want to know what next day air would have cost!). I stopped there before confirming the order.

Luckily, Midway had both products in stock at the same prices as Laserlyte's direct online store and the UPS shipping was only $8.80.
