Source for 5.56 ammo boxes
Might anyone know a source of cardboard ammo boxes for packing loose surplus 5.56 X 45 ammo?

I just put 'em in a ziplock bag, which then goes into an ammo can.
I put handloaded 5.56 cartridges loose in .30 caliber ammo cans. Boxes are just a PITA that I don't need. I take an ammo can to the range and load my magazines directly from it. No boxes, no fuss, no muss. I do, however, line the interior of the ammo cans (bottom, sides) with cardboard. Cheers! |

I use the plastic MTM ammo boxes. www.midwayusa.com sells a brand called Frankford Arsenal that are just as good but cheaper. They also sell cardboard boxes with styrofoam inserts that are cheap.
