Nice day at the range

and here were the players.... Aeroprecision AR, Saiga IZ132, Ruger SBH .44mag and hold your nose...a HP22a....
There really is never any rhyme or reason in my choices for a range day, I just grab a few firearms and go shoot. Well thats not entirely true this time, I needed to sight in the Sparc II on the AR.
It has been a long time since I have made it to the outdoor range, such a nice change of pace from indoor shooting.

I'm just the opposite, almost never shoot indoors. In terms of "nice day on the range ", is the ever a bad day on the range ?

Only if you shoot something you shouldn't... Serioulsy though, nope I have yet to have a bad range day and I am certainly going to try and take it outside much more often.

There is never a bad day at the range. I just wish I had access to some outdoor ranges.

When I look at that photo, all I see is a Saiga IZ132 that desperately needs to be converted to the proper configuration.

You know honestly I debated briefly about converting it but ultimately I decided for a $500 rifle it is what it is and it does what does very well and next to my lever action rifles it is one of the funnest guns I own. For that reason I decided not to put any time or money in to it and just leave it as my plain Jane, very utilitarian thumper..
