Knight mountaineer ML

I pre-ordered one in April and keep getting told it will ship soon. they charged my CC about 3 weeks ago and again told it will be a few days. is this normal for Knight firearms? I went with Knight because I thought they were a solid company.
did I make a mistake, or is this normal for their customer service?
maybe I am cheap but expected more for $1000 ML.

anyone?

You absolutely did not make a mistake. The Mountaineer is a superb and beautiful rifle. A bunch of guys who pre-ordered on another forum have now started to receive their rifles, some just in the last day or two. They were getting pretty antsy waiting for them too but from what I've seen posted the wait is well worth it.
They had a lot of pre-orders and Knight wanted them to be made right. And they reportedly also have a very high quality subcontractor making parts which takes time.
