Good load for AR-15?

I just bought a AR-15 DPMS with a 16" bull barrel with a 1 X 9 twist. I was wondering if any one else reloads for that type of gun and what they found to be a good load. currently I use 23.5gr of H322 with a 50gr Vmax bullet.

My brother's DPMS like yours like the 68gr Hornady HPBT with H335.

The search engine will reveal a number of threads with suggestions. There was a good long one about a month or more ago with folks sharing pet loads for .223.

I have the Bushmaster XM15-E2S with a 20" bull barrel, 1:9 twist.

My pet load is CCI primers, 50 grain Nosler Ballistic tip over 24 grains of IMR 3031. Wicked accurate, can put 3 shots well under a dime at 100 yards.

The advantage of loading this recipe, besides the great accuracy, is that 24 grains of the 3031 fills the case to ALMOST a compressed load. So there is no chance of double charging.
