Neostead shotgun
are these things legal for import? I really like the Idea of being able to select a feed tube with the flip of a switch to choose diffrent types of rounds.
when I first saw these I thought they were some made up video game weapon, seems like they would be ideal for police, Lethal/less than lethal at the flip of a switch. http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh08-e.htm |

My understanding is that every time someone tries to import them, the ATF coughs and makes it clear that they "don't have sporting uses" and would be considered destructive devices.

yeah but neither did a Yugo sedan and they let those through!
thanks a lot ATF! I would guess that you could say you wanted the option to use buckshot or a slug depending on distance, A poor argument I admit (and I might have just proved I don't know anything about hunting) but what sporting use does mossberg cruiser have? I hope you are wrong becuse I would like one of these misfit shotguns but I fear you are right. Last edited by Housezealot; April 21, 2009 at 01:35 PM. |

I don't see why you couldn't import with without an NFA Form 4. The weapons we have got in here somehow, I think you would just have to be patient with the ATF and you could get it (It AINT gonna be cheap, either).
I mean, hell, an M2 Browning has "no sporting purpose" either and is a destructive device; and you can own one if you can shell out the dough. Same with the Stryker-12's.

By Stryker-12s, I presume you are talking about the American made Streetsweeper copy? ATF declared those to be destructive devices (along with the USAS-12) in the '90s. |

That's the ugliest shotgun I've ever seen.
