Neostead shotgun

are these things legal for import? I really like the Idea of being able to select a feed tube with the flip of a switch to choose diffrent types of rounds.
when I first saw these I thought they were some made up video game weapon, seems like they would be ideal for police, Lethal/less than lethal
at the flip of a switch.

My understanding is that every time someone tries to import them, the ATF coughs and makes it clear that they "don't have sporting uses" and would be considered destructive devices.

I would guess that you could say you wanted the option to use buckshot or a slug depending on distance, A poor argument I admit (and I might have just proved I don't know anything about hunting) but what sporting use does mossberg cruiser have?
I hope you are wrong becuse I would like one of these misfit shotguns but I fear you are right.

I don't see why you couldn't import with without an NFA Form 4. The weapons we have got in here somehow, I think you would just have to be patient with the ATF and you could get it (It AINT gonna be cheap, either).

I mean, hell, an M2 Browning has "no sporting purpose" either and is a destructive device; and you can own one if you can shell out the dough. Same with the Stryker-12's.

Destructive devices are either explosives or weapons with a bore .50 or smaller. The M2 falls outside that category and is either a non-NFA rifle (if semi) and not specially regulated or a NFA machine gun and heavily regulated.

By Stryker-12s, I presume you are talking about the American made Streetsweeper copy? ATF declared those to be destructive devices (along with the USAS-12) in the '90s.
