MidwayUsa Competition range bag.
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/939...bag?cm_vc=S014
After hearing how popular and durable this bag supposedly is, I purchased it. The first time I attemted to unzip the main section, the zipper came off. The main section of the bag is now about as useful as a paper bag. Needless to say, I am a very frustrated customer! I write this mostly as a heads up, but also to ask if anyone has a contact e-mail or phone number for MidwayUsa, I can't find any contact info or a complaint section on their website. Thanks. |

just a PS, I did return the bag to some level of functionality by re-inserting the zipper from the other side, so I can close each side about 3/4 of the way, but they do zip in opposite directions...

I got that bag back in Nov and have had zero problems. Maybe you got a defective one.

You might post in the retail deals and feedback section as well.

First time I've ever heard of problems with that bag - I've had mine for several years and everything on it still works fine. I'm sure Midway will make it right.

I'm on my second one. My first one was ruined by no fault of the bag. My second one seems to be built differently, but just as good as my first one. Only disappointments are it's just a tad bigger than what I need and made in China.

Contact MidwayUSA. They'll take care of you. I've never had problems with their CS dept.

I've got the same bag, but badged "Academy", guess from where.
No problems with it, and I keep it loaded pretty heavy. It was purchased back when they first came out. Jason

Just call or simply send it back !!
I have purchased many supplies from Midway, enough that I too have gotten material that for "whatever Reason", did not meet my expections. Just returned them with no questions asked. .....
You shipping document that came with your order, clearly addresses these problems. They have always given prompt and positive follow-up. ... Be Safe !!!

It appears I can return the bag for an exchange by shipping it back to them. I suppose it's an adequate solution.
Edit: and they have just informed me they will reimburse my shipping costs. That makes me a much happier customer. Last edited by 8MM Mauser; April 20, 2012 at 12:08 PM. |

there CS is second to none in my opinion.
have used them for years and they have always made me satisfied. I'd call 800 order number and tell what you got they will probably just send out a new one without returning the old.

I have had mine for at least three years. The only complain I have is that it is so big I load it to the point I can barely lift it. My wife just leaves it alone because it gets too heavy. Never had a single problem with it. Sounds like you just have a bad one. I had good luck with Midway on a scope a while back, they got right on it, doubt you will have any problems.
