After a lot of searching i finally located a NIB TC factory 10" 300 Whisper barrel for my Contender and I should have it the first of the week.....I plan of using it for full size targets in IHMSA competitions.
Sierras comment on the cartridge in the Contender load book says the TC factory barrels rate of twist is better for lighter bullets whereas the custom Bullberry barrels twist rate is better for the heavier bullets....What's a lighter bullet, 140 grainers and under ?
If anyone has any loading data on the Whisper in a 10" Contender barrel I'd appreciate your comments and experience....thanks guys.
