223 combined technology

does anyone have any data on 55gr combined technology bullets with hogdon powders.

I tried to respond once, but couldn't get it to work. Anyhow, try Varget, 27.5grains at oal of 2.360-2.365. This is the measurement I get on rounds that are actually based on a Stony Point comparator tool. This is one of my two favorite loads for my .223, which is a m700 vs 26" barrel with a twist of
1-12. Depending on your rifle, you may not like this load at all. Benchmark and H-335 do not work well for me with 55 grain bullets, but they are very good with 40-50 grainers. Good luck.

I have loaded several hundred of thier bullets in 55 grain, in my AR-15's with a 16 inch barrel. I tried all the usual powders most mfg's recommend for that round and found that H322 worked the best. That said, my two AR's just preferred H322 not that the others are better or worse. I was getting 1/2" groups at 125 meters using 21.5 grains, Winchester brass and Winchester SR primers. After I went with the Nosler standard bullet in 55 grain Ballistic Tip, my groups went down to 1/4" at 125 meters. Same powder, cartridge and primer. Since I do not have a Chronograph I cannot give you any other information, expect that my two AR's much prefer that powder and bullet combination. Good Luck!
