Be safe out there, folks.
I'm usually not one to post things like this, but I recently lost a beloved family pet due to a friend's being careless and not doing what he knew he should do. It wasn't firearms related, and it was accidental, but it didn't have to happen.
Just take a few more seconds when you're targeting that animal, climbing that tree, or whatever you may be doing, and be sure that you have done everything to ensure your safety and that of others. If you're having a bad day, maybe po'd at the situation in general, back off and give it another thought. A second of carelessness = a lifetime of regret. |

All of us can use friendly reminders like this often.
