Just a quick note. Last Sunday morning I ran some handloaded .38 Specials through the Marlin Cowboy II. It worked like a charm at 25 yards. One group of 10 shots was a big hole dead center. This was the 125 gr JFP load. The 158 gr lead SWC loads were a bit larger, but still respectable. A couple of 3 inch and a couple of 4 inch groups. Nothing for a rifle person to brag about, but pretty good for me. The Cowboy II is a keeper.
