Another vote for S&W. You can shop for parts at Midway USA, Brownell's, Primary Arms, PSA and others. Magpul stuff is nice and fair priced.

+1 for S&W

However just wanna throw out there really quickly that you shouldn't discount other guns like Stag or just flat out building your own for that price. Just something I wanted to put on the plate.

I have considered building my own. I still haven't been able to bring a custom build under 650.00... Once I finish RN school, I am moving on to PA school... after that, Ill be in a position ( hopefully to have more discretionary spending. I fully plan on getting a Colt, just because I like the brand... But we are talking years down the road.
