Shooting equipment
I need to know some good browning trap shooting equipment (hip carrier vrs vest) and good glasses and ear PLUGS not head phones

Browning makes a "waist belt" with pockets on both sides / one in the back. I prefer vests or belts with pockets that have 2 pockets within the one...kind of dividing the bigger pocket in half. I only use a waist belt when it gets over 80 degrees. This is the one I use...( 5th row down - 2nd from right )...
http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...GRE#backbutton ------------- I like the Browning clays vest.../ it gets a little too warm in temps over high 70's...but its got room for everything...like this one ....on Browning site. http://www.browning.com/products/cat...d=305&tid=026C ------------ Extra choke tubes - I carry in a plastic fishing lure box ...they hold 6 chokes / then 2 in the gun ( a pair of Skeet, pair of IC, pair of Mod, 1 Imp Mod, 1 Full ) is typically what I carry. ----------- Rugged Gear push cart...is a good product / for sporting clays especially ( carry extra shells, rain gear, water, etc....but not for Trap really... unless you're shooting at a facility where you have to park a long ways from the fields ....or they have a lot of fields ...where you have to walk a half mile or something and carry all your gear ...extra shells, etc.. http://ruggedgear.com/ ---------- Glasses ...with prescriptions...I go with Decot HyWyd....in a variety of colors..light gold, vermillion, target organge....depends on what your background is and what type of targets they throw ( the lighter orange, bio targets ) are not the same as the old traditional White Flyers... http://sportglasses.com/ ------------ earplugs ....custom fit to your ears / molded ....you can buy a kit from Brownells....but most tournaments will have someone at a booth there making custom fit ear plugs ( they mold them to your ears - you sit for 10 min / they cure for 4 hours ) and then you can use them. Raidans custom molded ear plugs is the one Brownells carries. Custom plugs are by far the most comfortable - and the quietest / I don't like ear muffs on my shotguns either ( especially on guns with parallel adjustable combs ) because they bump the comb. |

I just put a shell tray, a shot shell box, a gun scabbard, and a small backpack for misc. on my "walker". (I've put larger & wider wheels on it.).
Molded ear plugs are the way to go. As far as vests go, any will do. I sized my large enough to be able to ware a sweat shirt under it. For glasses, I just ware "Cocoons" over my regular glasses...
