Do the new 870 Police Magnums have the J-lock safety?

The question says it all.

I am almost positive the answer is 'NO'.

Thanks for the reply. That's pretty much what I thought. However, in today's climate, I wasn't sure if Remington had made the switch or not.

Is the Police Magnum the only one in the 870 line that does not have the J-lock safety?

The last new Express I bought (18 mos ago?) Didn't have the J-lock. My understanding is that they've been discontinued, but am I wrong on that?

Negative, even current production Express and Wingmaster shotguns don't have the J-lock. There are certainly older inventory guns out there, still new, with dealers and distributors that do, however. The Police Magnum never had it.

It's good to hear they are, hopefully, phasing these things out.
