I like the idea of readily being able to see the number of posts that someone has made. It will make it a lot easier to spot a disrupter, but showing the posts also can give people an incentive to make a LOT more posts. I have seen it happen on other boards where the posts totals are shown. People will make a lot of posts in a short period of time just to reach some goal or magical number if you will.

The reason I'm telling you this, is that an increase in posts usually isn't a bad thing, but sometimes the overall quality of the board can suffer. If people start to make a lot of chatroom quality posts, it will make a lot more work for the moderators and it may degrade the whole.

Just something to keep an eye on, that's all.

Thanks, Joe. It crossed our mind from the standpoint that we prefer to keep the clutter to a minimum.
