I like the idea of readily being able to see the number of posts that someone has made. It will make it a lot easier to spot a disrupter, but showing the posts also can give people an incentive to make a LOT more posts. I have seen it happen on other boards where the posts totals are shown. People will make a lot of posts in a short period of time just to reach some goal or magical number if you will.
The reason I'm telling you this, is that an increase in posts usually isn't a bad thing, but sometimes the overall quality of the board can suffer. If people start to make a lot of chatroom quality posts, it will make a lot more work for the moderators and it may degrade the whole. Just something to keep an eye on, that's all. Joe |

Thanks, Joe. It crossed our mind from the standpoint that we prefer to keep the clutter to a minimum.
