CZ 75BD slide release question
I've used the snot out of my 75BD the past few years, mostly my fairly mild reloads. Lately during mag changes in competition the slide will slam forward if the mag is shoved in with authority.
Nice feature really, but I don't like something going on that wasn't there before. |

Mine will, too. Not reliably enough to count on for a fast reload like some Glock shooters can, but pretty often. Probably due to wear on the slide stop or its notch in the slide.

Not uncommon. My 75 doesn't do it, but I have others that do.

Should I be looking at a recoil spring change after oh...10,000 rounds? No functioning problems with the original spring, but have to wonder if recoil wouldn't be reduced with a new one.

That is not uncommon if you are seating your mag "with authority." My SP01 Tactical will do the same if I aggressively seat the mag. HKs will do the same. I kind of like it actually.
