Spotting scopes for Christmas

Hi, anyone know of a decent --> good spotting scope for under $200? I'd like to be able to see a .30cal hole at 200 yards on a piece of paper. Am I dreaming?

Someone on the M1-M14 egroups list suggested a BSA variable power scope that is sold by Sportsman's Guide, among other places. If I recall correctly, the price was around $150. Haven't seen one myself, but it sounded attractive.
