What reloading book for shotshells?

I just picked up a Mec 600 Jr., ( will be taking delivery in a week or so) and need a reloading book.

What would your preference be?

shotshell books

JL,

I have several but the two I use the most are Lymans edition and the hard cover Hodgons shotshell manual. Sometimes you can pick up those reloading pamplets from either the powder companies or at your friendly neighborhood reloading store.
You cant have to many manuals, always follow the loads religiously and never make any unauthorized substitutions for components. It a fun hobby, and you really dont save any $$$, you just shoot
more!!!! Safety first always!!

Hey Jorah,

I also have several shotshell books, but, if I could only have one, it would be the Lyman manual. If you were asking about a manual for metallic cartridges, I would give you the same answer - the Lyman manual.

Best wishes,

Lyman, then the "ABC's of Shotshell Reloading" for some good theory on reloading shotshells. The latter is available through barnes & noble and Amazon,IIRC

Thanks, folks. I looked at the Lyman manual... will have to wait 'til next payday

I've spent so much lately that I'm actually out of money.

I'll have to wait on getting into the new 600 jr. until I can afford the manual and reloading components.

Luckly I can play with my metalic cartridge gear until then.

Hmmm... running low on .45 acp...

Lalala la la... time to get off TFL and go get busy at the reloading bench.
