Win WAA12F114 Replacement for Lyman 525 gr 12 Ga Slugs

Any ideas what to replace this wad with since it is no longer made and the data mostly uses this wad.

I have one load for the WAA12 and a couple for the Fed wads.

I sure hope WST and the WAA12 work out! If not, I'll need your help!

It is said to have internal bumps which don't fit that slug right.

Does anyone have experience forcing the slug in a clay user wad. Looks like it might work, or it might leave you frustrated...looking for someone who has tried it...

If so, it's supposed to be loaded INSIDE some sort of regular target-one-piece-wad. Then loaded in a charged case. It can either be roll crimped or fold/star crimped.

I have that mold, have made some slugs, and fired a few. Since I gave up deer hunting in shotgun only areas, I didn't do any load work-ups. The ones I DID try shot pretty good, but kicked like a Missouri mule!

That is the slug. I have STS hulls, so I will try the Herco and WAA12 load. With that, I give up 200 fps to the WAA12F114 loads. I might try the downrange replacement, if I cannot find Herco.
